Bush Administration Urges Judge to Toss Torture Flight Suit

Attorneys for the Bush administration urged a federal judge earlier this week to dismiss a lawsuit accusing a subsidiary of Boeing of helping the CIA secretly transport prisoners to overseas torture chambers. The Bush administration claims the lawsuit against Jeppesen International Trip Planning risks exposing state secrets. The lawsuit accused Jeppesen of arranging at least 70 flights since 2001 as part of the CIA’s extraordinary rendition program.
