Called Saizen, the authentic 100-yen shop in Manila, after Japan’s very own Daiso chain of stores. The first time I went there, I was close to breathless. I find everything so cute and funky. The animal espresso cup is adorable. One whole rack houses chopsticks of different designs and colors. The salt and pepper shakers and the oil spreaders are almost irresistible.
