Risking life, limb and a couple of other bits, the dakless duo are clambering on top of a cage filled with bait meant to entice man-eating beasts.

The photo was sent to the Northern Territory News by SMS with the suggested caption: "Hey we love it up here."

Only months ago, two were people killed in saltie attacks in the NT.

"Persons interfering with crocodile traps are not only putting their own safety at risk, but interfering with the NT government crocodile management program is also putting the general public at a greater risk," he said.

If the long arm of the law had caught up with them, police said the denuded drinkers could have been slapped with a $100 fine each, or even arrested - if their behaviour had offended anyone.
