The Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds recently released two groups of African penguins back into the wild after being treated for oil contamination. The birds were contaminated in an oil spill off the coast of Namibia on April 8. On May 21, 84 penguins headed back into the sea and five days later, a second batch of 38 birds were released.
