"Lots of my old McDonald's workmates came back to our wedding and I had kept in touch with them all that time, so I just thought: 'Why not go back?'.

The couple have also delayed their honeymoon until goalkeeper Mr Pittard's local football team finishes their season.

He said: "I must be the luckiest man alive - not only did I win a fortune but my wife understands the importance of football and now I've got my old job back."
