‘Connecting’
the monthly publication of British Council published a feature showcasing TASMAC in May 2003, titled
“Linking Partners II”.

The article reads as follows:

“This is the second in our across-India features on new educational partnerships emerging between India and Britain. Here Anasuya Kesavan; Head Communications, British Council (West India), describes how Indian students are graduating from the University of Wales without leaving Pune or Bangalore.

International education has crossed borders to India. It is not longer essential that a student seeking international and world recognised qualifications should travel several thousand miles to the UK to take a professional qualification in subject areas such as business management, hospitality management, biotechnology, manufacturing technology and many others. Validated by UK universities these courses are running successfully in India in partnership with Indian educational institutes.
