A team of scientists from Jena, German say they have finally given up. They report that after three years of trying they have not been able to entice a sloth (name Mats) into moving.

The scientists say they tried various means to get Mats to climb up and then back down his pole like pounds of cucumbers and even plates of homemade spaghetti.

What I wonder is who paid these guys to conduct such a stupid experiment for 3 years
