Liberal Democrats are Trying to Raise Gas Taxes 50¢

According to recent news reports, Rep. John Dingell (D-MI) "wants to put a 50-cent tax on every gallon of gasoline to try to cut back on Americans' consumption."

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! Americans are already paying record prices at the pumps, and now you people want to add 50 cents a gallon to the cost? What in the world are these people thinking?

We MUST take action to stop these money-hungry "representatives" -- and we've got a GREAT way to do exactly that!

TAKE ACTION: Under current law, the federal government imposes an 18.4¢ per gallon tax on regular and unleaded gasoline. Dingell's proposal would result in consumers paying 68.4¢ in federal taxes for every gallon of regular or unleaded gasoline they purchase!

If we're going to get these people to "see the light," we've got toe make them "feel the heat" -- we need to take action quickly, with overwhelming force.
